someone came out of a store in florida and said "it's hot" they were right. st aug was so cool, southcarolina was not so cool but you gotta take the good with the bad and the ugly. speaking of ugly you can see below that we had an unpleasent face contest while we were eating at a diner in FL. we asked the waiter to make an unpleasent face and she made the most normal face weve ever seen. it wasn't even any different from the face she was already making. we assume that she was a robot and when she gets off work she plugs her self into the wall to recharge. we also went to GA and made a skatepark out of the sand, it was called the thrash zone.

this kid was awesome, he started drinking at like noon and partied all day, left the show to get some cigs, hit 2 cars, and then feel asleep in his car. St. Aug is wild son. its dank. We only have one show left on tour and then its back home to play our 7inch release with Giant at 2 artchicks on Saturday. Yes we will finally have our 7inches.

Well Ill be damned. Sorry for sucking at blogs and not updating them for 3 whole days! We were busy being punx and sleeping in places way too punk for the "internet." Baltimore and NY were really cool, we played both shows with Network of Terror. In New York we almost got beat up by feminists, but other than that it was sweet. We swam in the Chesapeake bay and at Coney Island before the cops made us get off these rocks. Cuz we were being too punk on them. And we were being bananarchists. We left the big apple at like 8pm and drove all night and didn't get home till like 6am. Then tonight we played at Lyle's house with some awesome bands, but Die Young didn't get to finish their set cuz the cops came. Cuz everyone was being too punx. Well we have 2 days off till we head down south and finish this tour (hopefully with our 7inches). We promise to try to update this better, i know there is a lot of hardcore blogging tarantuloco fans who just cry when they look at this thing and realize it didn't get updated. These dudes never said who they were so we started calling them "Bad Dudes" and they were bad dudes. they played for over an hour causing the lineup to get fucked which led to us being hated by "Handjobs" and all of "Handjob's" fans. then they slipped into comas.

fucking holy motherdamner, godfucking, shit swallowing bastard daddy! tonight after the ass splattering show we played with mouthbreather and the catalyst, kyle told us (confidentially) that he was very tired, but he still wanted to go out, have fun, and cuss. so we've been saying the worst words possible all night long. also, some dookie loving jerklady told us to "suck her wide, strange dick" and "fuck you, stop playing" while we were performing tonight, and it was a crushing blow to our collective selves-esteem. but we didn't let that shit get us down.
prior to that, we all jumped hard into the james river and swam halfway to a tropical paradise. but before we could get there, some athlete came and built a damn walmart on it and started praying for us. which sucked.
that's probably all that happened.

Well, our first day went good. There was a church next to the venue and Ryan walked into it on accident and everyone turned around and looked at him. A girl tried to warn him, "hey dude thats a church." But it was too late. We tried to talk like ventriloquists and it freaked me out. After the chruch let out the show started, too bad Steeples had to cancel due to their van breaking down. Then Wolverines made us play first cuz they think they are the best band in the WORLD. A cop came into the show with a peice of paper with an escaped convict on it. NO, havn't seen him. We saw a guy who wanted to give us a dollar for something to eat. We said do you want crackers or muffin and he said in slow motion "MUUU FIIIN." Later we stayed in Raleigh at Nathan Tabor's house. Well were about to go eat breakfest

Well, tomorrow were leaving. The LOCOMOTIVE (our spider-van) is all ready to go and so are we. Chuck is growing a beard and Ryan shaved his head. Kyle looks the same. Our NY show got canceled , as well as our PA show, but shit happens, and shit will still be awesome. We still might play a different show in PA, but were not sure about that yet. Some more not so great news is that due to a boiler exploding at the place that was pressing our records, were not going to have our 7 inches for the first half of the tour. But thanks to everyone who came out to our "7 inch release shows." They were still fun even if we didn't "have" or "release" them. I guess for the first few shows on tour we will be selling a cheap CD-R version of 'The Bird Of Knowledge' for like 3 bucks. It comes with an insert very similar to the ones that will be in our actual records. They both have Owls on them. The other side has all the lyrics on them. Also we still got stickers, buttons and now T-Shirts! They come in various sizes and colors, here is a picture:

Hopefully these items will give us some gas money to make it back...... alive.

Hi, were Tarantuloco (a music band) from the great city of Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2 weeks we will be leaving on a 2 week tour in promotion of our first release, The Bird Of Knowledge EP. Which comes on a 7inch record and a compact disk. You get them both at the same time! We are currently putting the finishing touches on the booking of the tour, working on new songs and waiting anxiously for our 7inches. Stay tuned to this blog for updates and photos from the road. Come back now ya hear? Oh yeah, we are playing some local shows before we leave. If you can make it out GREAT, if not, i don't blame you. I do know the June 8th show at Nate's Place is FREE.
